Beginners Classes

- Boxing 101

  • Our Boxing 101 class teaches the basic boxing stance, basic footwork, and how to throw a punch while also gradually building up your stamina, strength, and endurance! Boxing 101 class is great for the beginner who wants to give the boxing style fitness training a shot but doesn’t know the first thing about it! This is the perfect class to get started, and we know once you try it, you’ll be hooked.

Our Most Intense Fitness Classes

- Fighter Fit

  • Our Fighter Fit classes are an intense full body circuit style workout. Boxing will always be a big part of our classes, but also expect weights and other exercises too!

    -Power Hour LIFT

  • Power Hour LIFT is a brand new class designed with one thing in mind, to get you STRONGER in a safe and controlled strength training environment!

-Lunch 3/4 Hour

  • Lunch Break 3/4 Hour Power is a 45 minute high intensity, full body, no-nonsense, get it in, get out, class for busy folks who are always on the go, but need a break in their day!

- Core Shred

  • A circuit style class focused on core strength and stability!

- Weekend Warrior

  • Burn off those extra calories from Friday night with Saturday’s Weekend Warrior class! Saturday’s Weekend Warrior class is a 1 hour FULL-Body workout with boxing, strength and conditioning, and core exercises all tied into one!

-Low Impact Boxing & YOGA!

  • Low Impact Boxing & Yoga combines the restorative and healing measures of Yoga with the cardio, sweat, and stress release of Boxing!

Classes to Teach You to be a Better Boxer

- Boxing Skills and Drills

  • Boxing Skills, Drills, and Techniques is a class designed for folks who have the boxing basics down, but want to continue to receive more technical instruction in boxing, both offensively and defensively. Skills like parrying, pivoting, head movement,, counter punching, combinations, etc. will be learned on a class to class basis, and you will get interactive “live” looks by working with a partner.

Plus, we also have…

- Live Sparring & BBNF TEAM Training

  • Please note– Everyone who wishes to spar MUST be a CURRENT and REGISTERED USA BOXING Athlete! Every Sparring session must be supervised by a current/registered USA Boxing Coach, and all Safety Equipment must be used in accordance with the USA Boxing rules. Absolutely NO exceptions will be made on this due to the safety and liability of sparring. Blacksburg Boxing is PROUD to be a USA Boxing Certified Gym with roughly 40 or so registered USA Boxing Athletes who train here along with a number of high quality, certified, passionate USA Boxing Coaches. Live sparring is the ultimate boxing experience for those looking to truly experience the sport for what it is. Live sparring is performed every Saturday from 2pm-3pm and on an as needed basis for our athletes.
